K'nex Enterprise
« on: October 16, 2015, 03:30:49 pm »
As promised, I am posting my K'nex Enterprise-A (Kirk/Spock Era) and Enterprise-E (Picard era). I already posted these to Reddit, but the sub seems to be dead at this point) I built these over 15 years ago. Let me know what you think!

Love it! Are you planning on making instructions of them?

I took these right before I disassembled them. If there is enough interest I could make instructions. They are fairly simple designs and you could probably figure it out by looking at the pictures. I am currently working on an Enterprise that I hope will be about 3 feet long, so my focus is on that and finishing the X-Wing (which will have instructions)

I guess I'm not really used to it. I just build as I go. I don't stop to lay out pieces or anything. It just comes to me and I build it. If I were to make instructions I would have to tear everything apart (which is fine if I am permanently disassembling). I just need to get into the practice of making instructions ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

You could take pictures in reverse-order while dis-assembling!

I will definitely do that when I take my creations apart from now on!

Ahaha! Me too! I usually figure out my build as I go, so I don't normally take pictures until the end...

I love the idea of taking pictures when you take builds apart, though! Unfortunately, the majority of my builds don't get torn down very soon after I make them.  :P
