simple spiral/helix lift
« on: December 03, 2019, 11:37:55 am »
this is referred to in many an instructable; usually linking to knexinnovation (which is no longer with us) but I am wondering if anyone has instructions to knex set 32049. Its in a youtube video:

but its not available from knex.com; I emailed them and they basically said if its not on their website, its not there.

I see a few similar ones on instructables, (mostly by knexpert#10829476) but they seem to be modified to use the larger balls and also seem to take a lot more pieces.

My son is the primary ball-machine maker (he's 10) but as a previous lego fanatic who missed the knex wave due to age I am finding them super fun, hitting a different area than legos do. He built 1 ball machine so far, (1 lift, 4 paths) and 2 rube-goldberg style ones for an annual event. I will post some videos here and on instructables - he made a few of his own elements but also used many found on instructables.
