Storage Cubbies
--> View Model

Heyo! As some of you know, I like to make functional stuff out of K'nex to keep and utilize around my house. It's been a while since I've built anything, but I finally finished up these storage cubbies a couple of weeks ago. I did have some that were made of greys and reds (and not doubled up on each shelf), so this is a huge improvement. Yes, it took a lot of pieces, but it's so solid! If you wanna check out more pictures of it, I put it up onĀ my blog.

Looks cool and very sturdy! Any idea of the amount of weight each section can hold? ;D

I don't know, Linkin! Unfortunately, it may be hard to test it because you'd want an even distribution of weight to be able to get a good grasp of how much weight it would hold up under. I would venture to guess that it could hold around 35 lbs per shelf.

Funny you should say that. As I was finishing the build, I realized that it would be totally plausible to make a sturdy changing table out of K'nex. XD No, no, I didn't make one. But I do think one *could* use K'nex for that purpose (as long as they included safety features like railings).
