Step 1: Parts Needed

You will need the following:
Access to a 3D printer, or willing to use a 3D print service like Shapeways or 3D Hub.
I got the design of the Worm gear from GrabCAD
Cyber K'NEX parts:
  • Processor
  • Programmable cyber key
  • Single Batterypack + Motor 1
  • Double Batterypack + Motor 2 & 3
  • IR remote
Rods: Buy here
  • 155x Black rod (I counted 151)
  • 87x Silver rod + 2x Black rod
  • 8x Blue rod
  • 15x Dark grey rod
  • 2x Green rod
  • 1x Tan rod (strengthend, is necessary)
Connectors: Buy here
  • 9x 8-way black connector
  • 24x 7-way blue 3D connector
  • 48x 4-way silver 3D connector
  • 36x 5-way grey connector
  • 29x 4-way green connector
  • 20x 3-way dark grey/red connector (+ 2 broken ones, if you have them)
  • 4x 2-way (V-shape) grey connector
  • 2x 2-way (Long shape) brown connector

  • 2x Complete hinge (consists of 2x hinge blue part & 2x green/black part)
  • 19x Metallic spacer (1½ width)
  • 13x Blue spacer (½ width)
  • 2x Black clip with rod end
  • 2x Silver clip with rod end (can be interchanged with black)
  • 4x Ball and socket Large
  • 2x Clip with hole end dark gray
  • 4x Clip blue
  • 1x big rubber band (not on picture, see last step)
  • 15x Interlocking clip Dark brown + Tan
