K'nex Ball Machine Impossible
--> View Model

Hi there!
After 10 months of work, we're proud to present you our biggest k'nex ball machine: Impossible! This is by far our biggest k'nex ball machine ever, and has: 13 paths, 7 lifts divided into 2 networks. The whole thing runs on 2 motors, but a 3rd is necessary for an element. It is kind of confusing how the lifts are divided, so I'll tell you how it works. The first motor runs the top 2 arm lifts, and the wheel lift in network 1, and the chain lift in network 2. The second motor runs the first and second lift in network 2, the bottom arm lift in network 1, and the separator for network 1.
Some stats:
Height: 2.31 meters (7' 7'')
With and depth: 91 cm (3')
Number of pieces: 21,727
Number of balls: 20
Number of motors: 3
If you have any questions/comments, feel free to leave a comment or PM us.
This instructable is now an entry in the "Make it Move" contest. If you feel like it, would you vote for it? It would be much appreciated.
Thanks for watching/looking!

This instruction is only imported from instructables, nothing new.

 Hi everyone,
 this is a switch designd by yardking. Because his is just for golf balls I post here my version for knex balls. It works with modules. You'll have so many paths as you have modules plus one. Have fun with building it up and thanks again to yardking.

 (Hope everything is spelled correctly, i'm German)

 Step 1-8 are building the modules
 Step 9 is building the modules together
 Step 10 is building the hed
 Step 11 is building the tail

K'NEX Rollercoaster - Fushigi
--> View Model

I have recently created a K'NEX Rollercoaster that uses a Fushigi Gravity Ball instead of the standard K'NEX cars. I have made a youtube video of it also. Please comment with any questions.

Hi  :)
This is the post for the march's knexflux fan of the month and that fan is: Random_Builder from IL in USA !
Here are his answers to the questions

< How did you discover knexs ?
> ''I think my brother got a set and grew out of them then I grew into them.''

< Why are you still doing some knexs today ?
> ''They are very fun and you can made almost anything.''

< Are you working on any projects right now ?
> '' I want to try to make a ball machine that is smaller than any other one.''

< Do you think you can transfer this passion to your kids ? (if you want kids later)
> ''I hope I can!''

< Do you think that parents should encourage their kids to play knexs ?
> ''Definitely! It boosts creativity and gets them off their electronics. ''

That was the answers of Random_Builder and btw I congratulates him to have won the snowman constest.
Cheers !

Citadel Knex Ball Machine Elements - Instructions
--> View Instruction

This is an import of the instructions posted on Instructables. If you'd like to see the Instructables version, click here.

Hello everyone! This is a guide to all the elements in Citadel, for those who are looking to add elements in their machine and want instructions. Each element has its own step. Most of these elements are pretty small and compact, as I couldn't use any huge elements in such a compact machine. There are also lots of elements that fit well into red rod towers, so you won't have to have blank towers in your machine. If you'd like to see the video that these elements are in, click here for the Citadel video.
Before you begin: Some of the pictures used in this guide are from Citadel V2. I built onto Citadel after making the official video so I could make the elements and tracks work more reliably. For more information on Citadel V2, here are some links to pictures/video:

_______________________________________________
Note: Throughout this Instructable there are some elements that are more step-by-step than others, as I don't have the time to rebuild all of them. So, I decided to build the more complex ones that require some explanation. You'll also notice that I've put a lot of the picture info in image notes, rather than in a numbered list like I used to. This is so you won't have to leave the full-screen picture mode, read an image's description, and open the next one into full screen. If you're having trouble with a certain element because there aren't enough pictures, leave a comment and I'll rebuild it and make better pictures.
These have not been tested with newer Knex balls, since I use the original balls from Big Ball Factory. You'll have to use your own judgement if you use newer balls, which are slightly larger and lighter than the older ones. Also, lots of the elements have cheap support structures that are meant to be improved (go to Step 21 for an example of these cheap supports).
Let's get building!
